James A. Watt
Chief Executive Officer
James A. Watt joins Warren Resources, Inc. from Dune Energy, Inc., where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Prior to joining Dune in 2007, Mr. Watt also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Remington Oil and Gas Corporation since February 1998 and the Chairman of Remington since May 2003, until Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. acquired Remington in July 2006. From 1993 through 1997, Mr. Watt served as Vice President—Exploration of Seagull E&P, Inc., and from 1991-1993, he served as Vice President—exploration and exploitation of Nerco Oil and Gas. From August 2006 through March 2007, Mr. Watt also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Maverick Oil & Gas, Inc. Mr. Watt currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc., where he is Chairman of the Board, and Helix. Mr. Watt received a B.S. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Frank T. Smith, Jr.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Smith has over 40 years of experience in the global oil and gas industry. Mr. Smith has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dune Energy, Inc. since 2007 and as Secretary since January 2012. Prior to his appointment at Dune Energy, Inc., he served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Sonoran Energy, Inc. From 2004 through 2006, Mr. Smith served as Senior Vice President—Finance and Corporate Secretary of Remington Oil and Gas Corp., which was acquired by Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. in June 2006. From June 1997 through 2003, Mr. Smith served as Executive Vice President and Manager of energy lending at the Bank of Texas. From 1990 through 1997, Mr. Smith served as Director in the energy and utilities division of the First National Bank of Boston. Prior to 1990, Mr. Smith held positions of increasing responsibility in the energy banking departments of other major, publicly-traded United States financial institutions. Mr. Smith received an MBA in Corporate Finance & Banking from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School). He also holds M.Ed and B.S. degrees from the University of Delaware.

Greg Fox
Senior Vice President of Operations and Reservoir Engineering
Mr. Fox has thirty plus years’ experience inmanaging drilling, production and reservoir operations for start-up, emerging and high growth companies. Responsible full profit and loss responsibility for strategic business and market planning, staffing, budgeting, production operations and regulatory reporting. Prior to joining Warren Resources, he served as Operations Manager at Dune Energy, Inc. in 2005. After the acquisition of Goldking Energy on May 27, 2007, Mr. Fox became the Senior Vice President – Operations. Mr. Fox received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Zach Waite
Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing
Zach Waite joined Warren as vice president of business development and Marcellus Operations in August 2014 with the Citrus acquisition. Prior to this role, he spent five years at Citrus where he oversaw the drilling and completion of all Citrus 30 current producing wells. Mr. Waite was an integral part of the corporate strategy team due to his intimate knowledge of the project economics and also his involvement in direct field management in Wyoming County, Penn. Zach was also responsible for financial planning, engineering, geology and geophysical, business development, interfacing with Miller and Lents, Citrus’ reserve engineering firm as well as his role on the corporate strategy team. Mr. Waite graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in petroleum engineering. His employment with Citrus Energy Corporation began in 2007.
